You can click the information mark icon ⓘ next to any kart to view the Battery Charge History of its KCD (Kart Control Device).
When you select it, a detailed graph like the one below will appear.
Vertical Axis (Y-Axis): Displays the battery level percentage, ranging from 0% to 100%.
Horizontal Axis (X-Axis): Shows the time over which the data was recorded.
The light blue shaded area represents the battery level over time when the kart is idle or not in use.
The vertical green lines indicate periods when the kart is being driven
Understanding Charging Behavior
The KCD (Kart Control Device) can be charged in several ways depending on the kart type and its power configuration.
1. Petrol Karts (with sufficient coil power)
The kart’s engine coil generates enough power to charge the KCD while the kart is being driven or started.
On the graph, green lines (indicating driving or engine running) coincide with slight increases in battery level.
2. Petrol Karts (with insufficient coil power)
The coil doesn’t generate enough power to charge the KCD while the kart is running.
The green lines appear (indicating driving or engine activity), but the battery level continues to drop because the KCD isn’t charging.
These karts require charging via an external charger after use or replacing the charge coils with ones that can produce sufficient power.
3. Petrol Karts Without Any Coil
In this case, the kart has no coil at all, meaning it cannot charge the KCD during operation.
The green lines appear when the kart is being driven or started, but the battery level (blue area) consistently drops since there is no internal charging source.
These karts must rely entirely on an external charger to recharge the KCD after use.
4. Electric Karts
Electric karts usually supply enough power to charge the KCD continuously while being driven or started.
5. External Charging
When the kart is not being driven but connected to an external charger, the battery level (blue area) increases even though there are no green lines.
This indicates charging while stationary.
