Monitors general information.

We have a variety of integrated monitors in RaceFacer. The monitors are used to provide race information to your clients, or may show advertising pictures or videos. The most commonly used once are Current session monitor, Results monitor, Next session monitor.

  • Current session monitors It will show the ongoing sessions. All participants will be displayed and next to their names will be their position, kart number, elapsed laps, last time, and the best time. This monitor can be displayed on a big screen on the track, in the waiting room or at the spectators area.

  • Next session monitors will show the drivers that will participate in the next session. On the screen they will see their kart number and all of the other drivers that will be participating in the session with them. The next session monitor can be placed in your waiting area, so that your clients will be informed when the next session starts. Or in the pit box so that the clients will know on which kart they have to seat. Here you have several options. You can set up several upcoming sessions on one screen. We can make you a different next session monitor. The default one will show the next session and the next one will skip the next session and will show the session after the next one.

  • Results monitors. These monitors will show the results from the last finished session. On them you can see all the drivers with their position, kart numbers, number of laps, best lap time. This monitor can be put on the exit of your pit so every driver can check their results when they finish their session.

How to show a specific monitor on a TV screen.

To show a monitor on your TV screen, you need to: Use Smart TV to connect to the local server, open the TV browser, go to the system main navigation screen and choose the monitor that you like. Then make it to full screen mode. Note that the TV should have Full Screen mode in the Browser settings. If you are controlling the TVs from a PC just open your browser and show the monitor that you like on the TV and make it fullscreen.

Screen builder.

We are also offering you an option to use our Screen Builder tool. With it you can combine two or more monitors that will switch at a certain interval. You can also make a briefing or commercial video switching with one, or more of the monitors. You can access it through your administration.

How to navigate to the Screen builder.

  1. Click on your username.

  2. From the drop down menu choose administration.

  3. From the secondary menu choose Settings.

  4. From the menu on the left click Screen Builder.

Creating a custom screen.

  • The first thing to do is click on the "Add new screen" button. Let’s say you want to make a monitor that rotates between Current session and Results on every 5 sec.

  • First enter the name of your monitor.

  • From the drop menu “Type” choose “Internal URL”.

  • Here you can choose external video or image, if you want to put a video or an image for your centre.

  • After that go to the main menu and click on the Monitor Next Session. Now copy the URL address. Go back to the screen builder and put it in the URL field. Next choose how many seconds you want that screen to be shown before the switch.

  • In the fields Border X and Y type the measurements in pixels.

  • From the border type drop-down menu you can choose to put an image, video or colour. If you choose image or video you will need to provide the Url and if you choose colour you need to type the colour code.

  • After you are done with the first one, click on the "Add Slide" button to start creating the second one. You can add as many as you want.

  • For the second slide repeat the process with the Url of the desired monitor, video or image.

  • And after you are done click "Save screen" button.

  • Under screen List on the screen builder page you will have the link for your new screen. Clicking on it will open it in your browser. And you can copy it to any TV, tablet or computer on your track.
