Learn how to mount the camera on the helmet and how to start it

Updated over a week ago

Preparing the camera.

  1. Take the camera from the docking station only if you are ready to mount it on the helmet.

  2. Remove the lens cover if it is on the camera by PULLING.

  3. The camera MUST be started manually by holding the centre button until it lights up (hold it for about 3 to 5 seconds). Once the camera is on, it will start recording. Holding the button for more than 5 seconds will turn it off and the recording will be stopped. To make sure that the camera is recording you need to verify that the central indicator flashes at intervals of 1 second with yellow light (if there is a side indicator, it lights up in green). Once started DO NOT press the camera buttons or touch the lens!

Mounting the camera.

When mounting the camera on the helmet, the front edges of the camera velcro and the helmet velcro must be aligned. A difference of 1-2 mm in the backward direction is allowed for drivers under 190cm. If a driver is taller then 190cm the camera should be pulled back by 2-3mm.
